Your Club Godolphin account
How do I join Club Godolphin?

You can join Club Godolphin any time by completing the registration process. You'll need to do this before you can play Godolphin Fantasy Stable League.

Can I enter Club Godolphin competitions if I’m under 18?

You can enter certain Club Godolphin competitions if you are aged 13 years and over, however the Godolphin Fantasy Stable League competition is for members aged 18 years and over only. 

Do I have to pay to play Godolphin Fantasy Stable League?

No, Godolphin Fantasy Stable League is free.

Can I have more than one account?

No, only one account per registered member is allowed.

How do I activate my account?

Following registration, you will need to activate your account in order to take part in the Godolphin Fantasy Stable League. An email will be sent to the email address you registered with, containing a link to activate your account. If you haven’t received an email, please check your junk mail folder.

I’ve forgotten my login details, what do I do?

Please ensure you are using your registered e-mail address and correct password. Note that the password is case sensitive. Try resetting your password – a temporary password will be sent to your mailbox. Remember to update your password once logged in. If you do not receive the password reminder, please check your junk folder in your email mailbox and add club@godolphin.com to your address book.

I have requested a password reminder but have not received an email, what can I do?

Firstly, please check your junk/spam folder to make sure it has not been filtered there.

Some users with Hotmail/Outlook addresses have reported issues with receiving emails due to spam filters. To resolve this you need to set Club Godolphin as a safe sender in your settings - please complete the following steps:

Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail)

1. Open your Outlook mailbox.
2. Select Options from the top right (next to the question mark).
3. Select More options > Safe and blocked senders (under Preventing junk email) > Safe senders.
4. In the space provided, enter the email address club@godolphin.com
5. Select Add to list.
6. Ensure the safe mailing lists box has the address you entered, select OK.

Once this has been completed, please go back to the Club Godolphin site and follow the Forgotten Password steps again. A reminder email should appear in your inbox. Please note that this can take several minutes to come through.

Can I change my username?

Once registered, usernames cannot be changed.

Can I choose any username I like?

Any unique username that is not offensive is permitted. In the name of politeness, we retain the right to suspend and/or amend any username that does not adhere to these guidelines.

How do I change my registered details?

Simply sign in using your registered email and password then click on the My Account tab. Select My Details in your account section and amend your details as required.

Is my data safe?

We take your data protection very seriously, adhering to current data protection policies worldwide. Information may be shared with partner organisations, but never with external third parties.

Fantasy Stable League
What can I win?

There are fantastic monthly and an overall Fantasy Stable League Winner prizes up for grabs, including full hospitality at the Dubai World Cup race meeting at Meydan in March 2018. Full prize details can be found here.

The winner and runners-up will be notified using the information provided in your account. Proof of identity may be required.

I don't know anything about racing can I still play?

Of course, you don’t need to be an expert – we hope the Godolphin Fantasy Stable League will be a fun experience for everyone. If you’re new to Godolphin and horseracing you can choose the Lucky Dip selector.

Can I have more than one fantasy stable?

No, in the interest of fair play, each registered player may only have one fantasy stable. 

How do I select my horses?

Select your horses by tapping the ‘+’ symbol next to its name until you have ten horses in your stable. A ‘tick’ next to their name in the list indicates selected horses. Once a horse has been selected the next empty slot in the stable is automatically highlighted. You can return to a selected horse by clicking on the relevant horse icon.

How does the lucky dip work?

The Lucky Dip button randomly selects ten horses from the list of horses available and adds them to your stable (replacing any horses already selected). Repeat clicking repeats this process and replaces the current set of horses with a new selection. Once you are happy with your selection save it to enter the competition.

Can I make changes to my stable after entering the game?

Yes, you can change the composition of your fantasy stable three times during the competition. For the sake of clarification, each time a change is made to the composition of your stable by selecting new horses, it is counted as a ‘swap’, no matter how many horses you change (one, five or all ten).

What happens to the horses that were in my stable?

Following your stable swap, any horses that you replace will be stored and all their competition data displayed in a separate section below your current fantasy stable. 

Can I cancel my stable swap?

No, once you have saved your stable, only the horses in your current selection will be eligible to earn points when they race.

How can I view past race results?

Full race results can be found on the main Godolphin website here.

Can I play on multiple devices or platforms?

Yes, Club Godolphin and Godolphin Fantasy Stable League have been designed for use on any device and platform.

Can I invite friends to join Club Godolphin and play Godolphin Fantasy Stable League?

Yes, you can share Club Godolphin pages on Facebook and Twitter to encourage your friends and peers to join the fun.

Scoring
How are points calculated?

Your horses earn points by finishing first, second or third in races that they contest in during the competition dates. The Godolphin Fantasy Stable League Round 3 runs from Tuesday, 1 August until Sunday, 19 November 2017. Points are awarded as follows:

When are results updated?

Points will be updated once we’ve received full race results from the governing racing jurisdiction. This is usually within two hours of each race finishing.

My points have changed since I last checked but my horse(s) has not raced since, why is that?

The most likely reason is your horse, or another horse in the race, has been disqualified. Sometimes this happens a few days after the event following a stewards enquiry or similar. 

What happens if one of my horses is disqualified?

Your overall points score will be updated to reflect this as well as the points attributed to the particular horse. 

Where can I see my overall position in the league?

Your position is displayed at the top of the Leader board along with the top 50 players.

Bonus points
How can I earn bonus points?

Earn points by choosing where you think the Godolphin horse(s) that is entered in the selected bonus race will finish. You can participate in the bonus race, regardless if the horse(s) running in the selected race is in your fantasy stable or not.

How are bonus points calculated?

You can win 20 points if you correctly guess the placing of the Godolphin horse in the bonus points race. If there is more than one Godolphin horse in the bonus race, you will win 20 points for each correct guess. No points are earned for incorrect guesses.

When are bonus points updated?

Bonus points will be updated once we’ve received full race results from the governing racing jurisdiction. This is normally within two hours of the event.

How do I enter other competitions?

Simply follow the instructions provided on each competition page. Winners will be randomly selected and will be notified using the information provided. Proof of identity may be required.
